Shahi Paneer Rolls |
In India, any feast or any special lunch/dinner is incomplete without paneer(cottage cheese). Generally vegetarians replace chicken, mutton, fish with paneer in most of the curries. In my family, we have a habit of having evening snacks, so one day I found the left over paneer in my refrigerator. With this paneer, I thought of making something which can be served within 15-20mins. These 'Shahi Paneer Rolls' are very delicious and easy to cook in minutes.

Servings : 3
Ingredients : (For 2-3 people)
All purpose flour/Maida | 2cups |
Paneer(cottage cheese) | 1cup(grated) |
Onions | 2tbsp(chopped) |
Green bell pepper | 2tbsp(chopped) |
Red bell pepper | 2tbsp(chopped) |
Chaat masala | as required |
Salt | as required |
Green chilly | 1/2 tsp(chopped) |
Coriander leaves | as required |
Red chilly powder | as required |
Oil (for deep fry) |
Method : How to make Shahi Paneer Roll
For Filling:
- Mix grated cottage cheese, onions, green bell pepper and red bell pepper.
- Add chaat masala, salt, coriander, green chilly and red chilly powder.
- Mix it well. The stuffing is ready for making rolls.
For Rolls:
- Form a stiff dough of all purpose flour by adding salt and water as required.
- Fill the stuffing into it and wrap the roll by giving the rectangular shape as shown in picture.
- When all the rolls are done, refrigerate them for 10-15mins.
- Now, deep fry these rolls till they turn golden brown.
Yummy and delicious Paneer Rolls are ready to serve. One of the easiest and the quickest evening snacks.
