In India, any feast or any special lunch/dinner is incomplete without paneer(cottage cheese). Generally vegetarians replace chicken, mutton, fish with paneer in most of the curries. In my family, we have a habit of having evening snacks, so one day I found the left over paneer in my refrigerator. With this paneer, I thought of making something which can be served within 15-20mins. These 'Shahi Paneer Rolls' are very delicious and easy to cook in minutes.


Preparation time : 10mins
Cooking time : 15mins
Servings : 3

Ingredients : (For 2-3 people)

All purpose flour/Maida2cups
Paneer(cottage cheese)                                    1cup(grated)
Onions2tbsp(chopped)
Green bell pepper2tbsp(chopped)
Red bell pepper2tbsp(chopped)
Chaat masalaas required
Saltas required
Green chilly1/2 tsp(chopped)
Coriander leavesas required
Red chilly powderas required
Oil (for deep fry)

Method : How to make Shahi Paneer Roll

For Filling:
  1. Mix grated cottage cheese, onions, green bell pepper and red bell pepper.
  2. Add chaat masala, salt, coriander, green chilly and red chilly powder.
  3. Mix it well. The stuffing is ready for making rolls.
For Rolls:
  1. Form a stiff dough of all purpose flour by adding salt and water as required.
  2. Fill the stuffing into it and wrap the roll by giving the rectangular shape as shown in picture.
  3. When all the rolls are done, refrigerate them for 10-15mins.
  4. Now, deep fry these rolls till they turn golden brown.

Yummy and delicious Paneer Rolls are ready to serve. One of the easiest and the quickest evening snacks.
