Pesto Pasta

Cheesy Pesto Pasta recipe
Pesto Pasta

One afternoon, I was watching a cookery show and got an idea to make something with Pasta. Generally, I prepare white sauce pasta, but that day I thought, lets try some different flavor and give surprise to my hubby. I went to grocery shop and found Pesto Sauce in one of the shelves. I bought that, came home and prepared this delicious pesto pasta before 6pm. As soon as my hubby came home I serve this hot and creamy pesto pasta with tea. We enjoyed this evening snack a lot.

Method : How to prepare Pesto Pasta

  2. Grind it to form a thick paste(grind in a way that it should not lose its texture).
  3. Pesto sauce is ready.

For Pasta:
  1. Boil pasta in a pan for 10-15mins by adding some oil and salt(keep checking whether it is cooked or not)
  2. Now, saute green bell pepper, red bell pepper, onions in butter.
  3. Add cheese and milk into it(stir continuously and avoid lumps)
  4. Now, add pasta, pesto sauce, salt, oregano, chilly flakes and black pepper powder.
  5. Mix everything well.

Creamy and cheesy pesto pasta is ready to serve. Pesto sauce is readily available in market if don't have Thai basil leaves. Forgetting about dieting and calories, on weekends you can enjoy this cheesy recipes at home.
