Chocolaty Tart

Chocolaty Tart
Chocolaty Tart

In any religion, celebration is incomplete without sweets and desserts. And every time we look for some different types of desserts to make our celebration more special. Here I have tried a different type of cake or you can call it cookies. This is a combination of vanilla tart with the filling of chocolaty sauce and hence the name 'Chocolaty Tart'.

Preparation time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Servings : 2

Ingredients:(For 2-3 people)

All purpose flour/Maida                2cups
Butter1/2 cup
Castor sugar1cup
Milk powder1cup
Baking powder1tsp
Vanilla essence2tsp
Milkas required
Choco powder3-4tbsp
Fresh cream2tbsp

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, mix butter, castor sugar, maida, baking powder, vanilla essence, milk powder.
  2. Form a stiff dough adding milk as required.
  3. Roll this dough into a circle, and place that rolled circle into a baking vessel (I had a baking bowl as you can see in a above picture, about 2 inch deep)
  4. Poke the dough with a fork so that it does not swell up while baking. Now, bake this dough for 12-15 mins at 180 degree Celsius.
  5. Base is ready.
For chocolate sauce:
  1. In a bowl, take fresh cream, castor sugar, choco powder and small amount of butter.
  2. Keep whisking this batter till it becomes fluffy.
  3. Now, fill the base with this chocolate sauce as shown in picture.
  4. Decorate with Cadbury Gems or sugar coated colored fennel seeds.
If you like you can even refrigerate this tart for about 4-5 hours.
Definitely, this dessert is going to be one of the most loved recipes among all.

Enjoy and be chocoholic :)
